Key Responsibilities

  • Support excise enforcement operations, including field inspections and compliance checks.
  • Assist in preventing illegal manufacture, transport, and sale of illicit liquor and related contraband.
  • Participate in patrols, checkpoints, and raids as per departmental instructions.
  • Prepare basic reports/records related to inspections, seizures, and operational activities.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other law-enforcement/administrative units when required.
  • Maintain discipline, integrity, and adherence to government service conduct rules.

Eligibility & Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board.

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2023)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age (UR – Male): 25 years
  • Maximum Age (BC/EBC – Male): 27 years
  • Maximum Age (UR/EWS/BC/EBC – Female): 28 years
  • Maximum Age (SC/ST – Male & Female): 30 years
  • Age relaxation as per JSSC/government rules.

Physical Eligibility (PET Standards)

  • General/BC/EBC (Male): Height 160 cm; Chest 81 cm; Running 10 km in 60 minutes
  • SC/ST (Male): Height 155 cm; Chest 79 cm; Running as per notified standard
  • All Categories (Female): Height 148 cm; Running 5 km in 40 minutes
