Position: Field Clerk (Government Examination Support)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Clerk to support large-scale government examination and recruitment activities. This role focuses on field-level coordination, documentation, candidate support, and administrative assistance aligned with public-sector exam operations (e.g., admit card distribution support, exam-day logistics, and post-exam documentation).
Responsibilities
- Assist with field-level administrative coordination for examination/recruitment activities, including venue readiness checks and coordination with on-site staff.
- Support candidate facilitation processes such as verification queue management, guidance on instructions, and help-desk coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation (attendance sheets, checklists, incident logs, inventory registers) as per prescribed formats.
- Coordinate distribution and collection of examination materials (as authorized) and ensure secure handling procedures are followed.
- Communicate schedules, reporting instructions, and updates to stakeholders (supervisors, venue coordinators, and assigned teams).
- Assist in pre-exam formalities and ensure adherence to timelines and compliance requirements.
- Compile daily status reports and submit summaries of field observations, issues, and resolutions.
- Support post-event activities such as document reconciliation, record filing, and handover notes.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent; additional administrative certification is a plus.
- 1+ year experience in clerical/field administration, event operations, or public-facing service roles preferred (freshers with strong aptitude may apply).
- Comfortable working in field environments, including examination centers and administrative offices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and checklists.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office/Google Workspace), data entry, and document handling.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and/or English (as applicable to the assigned region).
- Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and remain calm under high footfall conditions.
- Willingness to travel locally and work on weekends/holidays during exam windows.
- High integrity and commitment to confidentiality and compliance standards.
