Position: Field Engineer / Field Supervisor
Location: Project Sites (PAN-India) with travel as required

We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Field Engineers and Field Supervisors to support high-voltage power transmission and substation projects. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on execution, site coordination, and ensuring quality and compliance in fast-paced field environments.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day site execution for transmission line/substation works, including civil, electrical, erection, testing, and commissioning activities (as applicable).
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure work progresses as per schedule and approved drawings.
- Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with EHS standards, permits, and toolbox talks.
- Conduct site inspections, verify measurements, and maintain work quality in line with specifications and standards.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining site documentation such as daily progress reports, checklists, work permits, material reconciliation, and snag/punch lists.
- Support testing and commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and documentation handover.
- Track materials, tools, and manpower deployment; escalate shortages or risks proactively.
- Coordinate with client/consultant representatives for inspections, approvals, and closure of observations.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and support resolution of site issues, rework, or non-conformities.
Requirements
- Education (Field Engineer): Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil (role-dependent) from a recognized institute.
- Education (Field Supervisor): ITI/Diploma in relevant trade/discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 0–5+ years in power transmission/substation projects, EPC environments, or industrial field execution (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
- Working knowledge of site execution practices, quality checks, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, method statements, and basic technical documentation.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) for reporting; familiarity with project reporting formats is a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel/relocate to project sites and work in shifts as per project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to high-voltage substations (AIS/GIS), transmission line stringing/erection, or protection & control systems.
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes, ITPs, and inspection documentation.
- Safety certifications (where applicable) and experience working under strict EHS compliance.
