Position: Grade A Nurse (GANRCE)

We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented, and clinically skilled Grade A Nurses to provide safe, evidence-based nursing care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role supports high-quality patient outcomes through clinical excellence, accurate documentation, patient education, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress; identify clinical deterioration and escalate appropriately.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies as per physician orders and institutional protocols; ensure the “5 rights” of medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and reports in compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist physicians and clinical teams during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care where applicable, including wound care and infection prevention practices.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication adherence, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control standards, patient safety practices, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Coordinate with lab, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments for timely diagnostics and treatment.
  • Support triage, patient flow management, and prioritization of care in high-volume units.
  • Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within the nursing department.

Requirements

  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing (or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • Valid registration with the State Nursing Council/Indian Nursing Council (as applicable).
  • Sound knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety, infection control, and clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
  • Preferred: Prior hospital/clinical experience in medical-surgical, emergency, ICU, OT, maternity, or community health settings.
