Responsibilities
- Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Assist in postal operations including sorting, processing, customer service at counters, and handling documentation as per departmental procedures.
- Postman / Mail Guard: Delivery and collection of mail/parcels, route-based distribution, maintaining delivery records, and supporting field operations; may involve travel and use of a two-wheeler where required.
- MTS: Support day-to-day office and operational tasks, including basic administrative assistance, file movement, and other duties assigned by the department.
Requirements
- Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Intermediate (10+2) passed with a Computer Certificate.
- Postman / Mail Guard: Intermediate (10+2) passed with a Computer Certificate, Two Wheeler License, and Gujarati language requirement.
- MTS: High School (10th) passed with Gujarati language requirement.
Age Limit (as on 31 July 2020)
- MTS: 18 to 25 years
- Other Posts: 18 to 27 years
