Position: Home Guard Volunteer

We are seeking disciplined, community-focused individuals to serve as Home Guard Volunteers in support of public safety, emergency response, and community assistance operations. This role involves working closely with government authorities and local stakeholders to help maintain order, support civic preparedness, and assist during public events and emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Support law-and-order and community safety initiatives under the direction of designated authorities.
  • Assist in crowd management, traffic support, and public event coordination as assigned.
  • Participate in emergency response activities during disasters, incidents, and other urgent situations.
  • Maintain readiness through required drills, training, and physical fitness standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, instructions, and chain-of-command protocols.
  • Prepare for and participate in verification/medical processes as required for deployment.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and respectful conduct while interacting with the public.

Requirements

  • Education: Passed Class 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India.
  • Age: 20 to 45 years (as per applicable rules and relaxations).
  • Ability to meet physical efficiency and measurement standards as applicable to the role.
  • Willingness to participate in selection stages such as written examination, physical tests, document verification, and medical examination.
  • Strong sense of duty, discipline, and ability to work in challenging and time-sensitive environments.
  • Comfort working outdoors and in field conditions, including extended standing/walking when required.
  • Basic communication skills and the ability to coordinate with teams and supervisors.
