Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hostel administration including resident onboarding, room allocation, and record maintenance.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and welfare of residents in accordance with institutional guidelines.
- Coordinate housekeeping, sanitation, and basic facility upkeep to maintain hygienic living conditions.
- Supervise service vendors and support staff as applicable; ensure service quality and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain registers and documentation related to residents, inventory, incidents, and operational compliance.
- Handle resident grievances and coordinate corrective actions in a timely and fair manner.
- Support inspections, audits, and reporting requirements as directed by the department/commission.
- Assist in implementing policies related to hostel management, security, and emergency preparedness.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration OR Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized university/institute in India.
- Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum (Male): 37 years
- Maximum (Female UR / BC / EBC): 40 years
- Maximum (SC / ST Male & Female): 42 years
- Age relaxation as per BTSC recruitment rules.
- Skills Preferred: administrative coordination, resident management, basic compliance documentation, communication skills, and service/vendor coordination.
