Role Overview
As a Probationary Officer / Management Trainee, you will undergo training and gradual role expansion across core banking functions. Responsibilities typically include customer service, account operations, credit processing support, compliance adherence, and participation in branch/business initiatives as assigned by the bank.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day branch operations including account services, transactions, and customer query resolution.
- Assist with documentation and verification for banking products (deposits, loans, cards, digital services).
- Learn and follow internal controls, audit requirements, KYC/AML guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to service quality, customer experience, and turnaround time improvements.
- Participate in training programs and complete assigned learning modules during the probation/trainee period.
- Support cross-functional tasks as required by the posting branch/office.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India.
- Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years (age relaxation as per IBPS rules).
- Comfort with basic computer applications and digital banking tools.
- Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment with accuracy and integrity.
