Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by role and scale; typical expectations include:
- Deliver customer service and support branch operations (accounts, cash, remittances, and basic banking services).
- Support loan processing, documentation, and recovery activities as per policy.
- Assist in compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to banking regulations.
- Handle operational reporting, MIS, and coordination with internal teams.
- For Officer roles: manage portfolios, supervise teams (as applicable), and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- For specialist roles (IT/CA/Law/Treasury/Marketing/Agriculture): provide domain expertise, advisory, and execution support aligned to the function.
Eligibility & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) / Officer Scale I: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer) / Officer Scale III: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks plus relevant post-qualification experience (3 years for Scale II GBO; 5 years for Scale III) as per IBPS norms.
- Officer Scale II (IT Officer): Graduation in Electronics/Communications/Computer Science/Information Technology with minimum 50% marks and 2 years post experience.
- Officer Scale II (Chartered Accountant): CA qualified (ICAI) with 1 year experience as CA.
- Officer Scale II (Treasury Manager): CA or MBA (Finance) with 2 years experience in a recognized sector.
- Officer Scale II (Marketing Officer): MBA (Marketing) with 2 years experience in a recognized sector.
- Officer Scale II (Agriculture Officer): Graduation in Agriculture/Horticulture/Dairy/Animal/Veterinary Science/Engineering/Pisciculture (or related) with 3 years experience.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2020)
- Officer Scale I: 18–30 years
- Officer Scale II: 21–32 years
- Officer Scale III: 21–40 years
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18–28 years
Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit): SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years (as per applicable rules).

Selection will be based on online examinations conducted in two stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
