IFSCA invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager. This role supports regulatory, supervisory, and developmental functions within the International Financial Services Centres (IFSC) ecosystem. The Assistant Manager will contribute to policy implementation, stakeholder coordination, analysis, and operational excellence across assigned verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory and supervisory activities including review of applications, submissions, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in drafting notes, reports, briefing papers, and internal communications for decision-making and governance processes.
  • Analyze data, market developments, and industry trends relevant to financial services, IFSC operations, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Coordinate with regulated entities, government departments, and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of requests and adherence to guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Support inspections, audits, and monitoring activities as assigned, including documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation repositories; ensure confidentiality and information security.
  • Participate in meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items to closure.
  • Assist in project execution for initiatives aimed at strengthening the IFSC ecosystem and improving service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Statistics, or related fields). A postgraduate qualification may be preferred for certain functions.
  • Understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments, compliance concepts, and/or risk management is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear, structured official documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfort with digital workflows and documentation.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
