Responsibilities

  • Deliver role-specific clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or technical services in a regulated healthcare/research environment.
  • Support patient care workflows (OPD, IPD, casualty, imaging, lab, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing) as applicable to the post.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, registers, and records in line with departmental SOPs and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards; follow departmental protocols and reporting structures.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (medical officers, technologists, nurses, pharmacists, technicians) for smooth service delivery.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives relevant to the assigned unit.

Requirements (Eligibility Summary)

  • Scientific Officer / E (Medical) (Group A): MBBS with MS (or equivalent) in relevant discipline from a recognized institution/university with minimum 4 years’ experience after post-graduation.
  • Scientific Officer / D (Medical) (Group A): MDS OR BDS with 5 years’ experience OR MBBS with MD/MS in relevant discipline OR MBBS with PG Diploma in relevant discipline along with desired experience.
  • Scientific Officer / C (Medical) (Group A): MBBS from a recognized university with registration with Medical Council of India (as applicable).
  • Technical Officer / B (Physiotherapy) (Group B): PG Degree in Physiotherapy with minimum 50% marks.
  • Scientific Assistant / C (Medical Social Worker) (Group B): Post Graduate Degree in Medical Social Work with minimum 50% marks.
  • Nurse / A (Group B): B.Sc. (Nursing) OR Class 12 with Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years) and valid registration as Nurse with Central/State Nursing Council in India.
  • Scientific Assistant / B (Group B): Minimum 60% in B.Sc. (relevant discipline) OR minimum 60% in B.Sc. followed by PG Diploma in relevant discipline with minimum 60%.
  • Pharmacist / B (Group C): Class 12 + 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + registration as Pharmacist with Central/State Pharmacy Council.
  • Technician / B (Group C): Class 12 with minimum 60% in Science + 1-year certificate course in relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
