Pay Scale

  • Medical Officer / Assistant Registrar: Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/-
  • Junior Engineer / Junior Superintendent: Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-
  • Library Information Assistant / Senior Laboratory Assistant (LSA): Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/-
  • Junior Lab Assistant / Junior Assistant: Rs. 21,700/- to Rs. 69,100/-

Responsibilities

  • Support IIT Delhi’s academic and research ecosystem through non-academic operational roles in administration, laboratories, engineering services, library services, and institutional support functions.
  • Perform role-specific duties such as laboratory setup/maintenance, technical assistance, departmental support, documentation, record management, publication support, accounts assistance, and/or civil engineering support as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with institute procedures, safety norms, and quality standards relevant to the assigned unit/department.
  • Participate in institute selection processes such as written tests, trade tests, and computer-based tests as applicable.

Requirements (Role-wise Eligibility Summary)

  • Medical Officer: M.D./M.S. in relevant branch OR PG Diploma with 1 year experience in recognized hospital OR MBBS with 3 years experience including rotating internship (as stated in notification).
  • Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree with minimum 55% and consistently good academic record, plus 5 years administrative experience.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in relevant trade.
  • Junior Superintendent (Publication): Master’s degree (Science preferred) with PG Diploma in Journalism and relevant experience.
  • Library Information Assistant: M.Lib/MLISC with at least 55% and minimum 1 year relevant experience.
  • Junior Laboratory Assistant (Management Studies): Bachelor’s degree in Science with minimum 55%, relevant experience, and proficiency in computer applications (MS Word/PowerPoint).
  • Junior Assistant (Accounts): B.Com with minimum 55%, typing proficiency (English/Hindi), and working knowledge of MS Word/PowerPoint.
  • Senior Laboratory Assistant (Group C): Master’s/Engineering degree/equivalent in relevant trade with minimum 55% (department-specific variations may apply as per notification).
