Responsibilities
- Undertake officer training and successfully complete the prescribed course requirements for commissioning under SSC.
- Lead and manage teams in operational, administrative, and training environments as per Army requirements.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, integrity, and professional conduct.
- Meet and sustain physical fitness standards required for military service.
- Perform duties as assigned across peace and field areas, including preparedness for deployment as per service exigencies.
Requirements
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 19 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Date of Birth Range: Born not earlier than 02 July 2000 and not later than 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive)
- Age relaxation as per Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme rules (where applicable).
Educational Qualification
- For NCC “C” Certificate Holders: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university (or equivalent).
- Must have a minimum 2-year NCC certificate.
- For Wards of Battle Casualties: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university (or equivalent).
