Role Overview
As an SSC Women Officer (Technical/Non-Technical), you will undergo selection through the SSB process and, upon commissioning, serve in leadership and operational/administrative roles aligned with your stream and branch allocation. The role demands integrity, discipline, physical fitness, and the ability to lead teams in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams while upholding Indian Army values, discipline, and operational readiness.
- Perform branch-specific duties based on technical/non-technical allocation and training.
- Support planning, execution, and coordination of unit-level activities and assignments.
- Maintain compliance with military procedures, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate adaptability and decision-making in challenging field and organizational conditions.
Requirements
- Education (General SSC Women Various Posts): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/college.
- Education (SSCW Tech / SSCW Non-Tech as applicable): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant trade/discipline (as per official notification).
- Must meet age criteria as specified for the course.
- Must be medically fit as per Indian Army standards.
- Ability to clear the SSB interview process and document verification.
