Position Overview
We are seeking an IRMA Exam Answer Key & Assessment Support Specialist to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of answer keys and result-support activities for high-stakes examinations. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, timely publication, and a seamless candidate experience across answer key releases, objections handling, revisions, and final communications.
This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with structured data, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and the ability to follow defined timelines and governance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the publication of provisional and final answer keys, including version control and audit trails.
- Validate answer key data for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with question papers and exam sets.
- Support objection/challenge workflows: intake, logging, tracking, and status updates as per policy.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and exam committees to document resolutions and implement approved changes.
- Prepare and maintain structured documentation for key milestones (release notes, change logs, notices, and FAQs).
- Assist in result-related operations: cross-checking candidate-facing outputs, ensuring correct roll number mapping, and verifying category-wise cutoffs when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Monitor timelines and coordinate with IT/web teams for posting updates to official portals.
- Respond to candidate queries through approved channels with accurate, policy-aligned information.
- Generate periodic reports and dashboards on objections volume, resolution time, and release readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Administration, Statistics, IT, or related fields preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in examination operations, assessment support, academic administration, or a similar process-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and structured data (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets); ability to reconcile datasets accurately.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting notices, instructions, and candidate-facing updates.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs, checklists, and approval workflows.
- Comfort working with confidential information and adhering to strict compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with cross-functional teams (SMEs, IT, admin, helpdesk).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on answer key publication, objection handling, or result processing for competitive exams.
- Familiarity with exam portals/CMS workflows and PDF publication standards.
- Basic understanding of data validation techniques and quality assurance processes.
- Experience creating candidate support documentation (FAQs, help articles, process guides).
