Responsibilities
- Provide clinical/paramedical support services as per assigned cadre (nursing, pharmacy, midwifery).
- Support routine and emergency medical care, patient monitoring, and documentation.
- Maintain medical supplies, equipment readiness, and hygiene/safety protocols.
- Assist in medical examinations, health camps, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
- Comply with ITBP medical procedures, reporting standards, and operational discipline.
Eligibility & Requirements
SI (Staff Nurse)
- 12th / Intermediate passed from a recognized board.
- Passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- Registered with Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.
- Desirable: 3 years of experience.
- Age: 21–30 years (as on 28 July 2024).
ASI (Pharmacist)
- 12th / Intermediate passed with Physics, Chemistry & Biology from a recognized board.
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a Central/State Govt. institute.
- Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Age: 20–28 years (as on 28 July 2024).
Head Constable (Midwife) (Female Only)
- 10th / High School passed from a recognized board.
- Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) course from a recognized institute.
- Registered in Central/State Nursing Council.
- Age: 18–25 years (as on 28 July 2024).
- Note: Post is for female candidates only.
