About the Role:
BTSC invites qualified and motivated candidates for various ITI Trade Instructor positions. The role focuses on delivering high-quality vocational training, supporting skill development, and ensuring trainees meet industry-relevant standards in their respective trades.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical workshop instruction aligned with ITI curriculum and trade standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations, training materials, and assessments.
- Supervise and guide trainees during lab/workshop sessions to ensure safe and effective skill acquisition.
- Evaluate trainee performance through tests, practical evaluations, and continuous assessment.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment documentation, and other required registers.
- Ensure proper use, upkeep, and basic maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop/lab resources.
- Promote discipline, punctuality, and examination hall/training center decorum.
- Support institutional activities such as inspections, audits, and academic/administrative requirements as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant ITI/technical qualifications and trade expertise as per BTSC notification for the specific trade.
- Ability to teach both theory and practical components effectively.
- Working knowledge of safety practices and standard operating procedures for the trade/workshop environment.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication (preferred).
- Strong communication and trainee-handling skills with a commitment to public service and education quality.
- Must be able to appear for and qualify the BTSC offline examination as per schedule.
Selection & Examination Information
- Admit Card Status: Available (released a few days before the examination as per notice).
- Examination Window: 01 – 09 January 2024.
- Answer Key / Objection: As per the published schedule, candidates may download the answer key and raise objections within the specified window.
- Candidates should arrive on time and follow all pre-examination formalities and instructions.
