Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks including file management, record keeping, and document processing.
  • Prepare and maintain official correspondence, notes, registers, and reports as required.
  • Enter, update, and verify data in departmental systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support office workflow by coordinating with internal teams and assisting in routine administrative activities.
  • Handle basic computer-based tasks such as drafting letters, formatting documents, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Assist with document verification and other procedural requirements as directed by supervisors.
  • Follow established government procedures, guidelines, and timelines for office work.

Requirements

  • Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) pass or equivalent.
  • Eligibility: Must have qualified UPSSSC PET 2022 (as applicable to the recruitment rules).
  • Typing Speed: Minimum 25 WPM in Hindi and 30 WPM in English.
  • Computer Certificate: Valid NIELIT CCC certificate (or equivalent as accepted by the authority).
  • Age Limit (as on 01 July 2023): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per UPSSSC/government norms).
  • Working knowledge of office procedures and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage routine tasks, prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality.
