Position: Junior Court Assistant (JCA)

The Supreme Court of India invites applications for the position of Junior Court Assistant. This role supports court administration through clerical operations, case-file handling, data entry, computer-based tasks, and general office coordination. The position requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, and proficiency in computer operations and typing.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support for court and office operations.
- Handle documentation, record maintenance, file movement, and data entry with accuracy.
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and processing official correspondence and reports.
- Operate computers and standard office software for routine tasks.
- Support coordination of schedules, notices, and internal communications as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with established policies, procedures, and court protocols.
- Assist with other duties assigned by supervising officers as per operational requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation degree (UG) in any stream from a recognized university/college.
- Skills: Computer operation proficiency and typing speed of 35 WPM.
- Age: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation as per applicable recruitment rules).
- Ability to work with accuracy under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and integrity.
