Position: Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical & allied trades)

Location: All Over India

Overview: We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineers to support planning, execution, inspection, and documentation of engineering works across multiple government departments and project units. The role involves assisting senior engineers in technical design review, site supervision, quality checks, measurements, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist in execution and supervision of civil/electrical/mechanical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Support preparation and verification of estimates, measurements, bills, and technical documentation.
Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and report deviations, risks, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Support quality assurance activities including material checks, workmanship verification, and compliance documentation.
Help maintain records such as site logs, test reports, inspection notes, and measurement books.
Assist with safety compliance and basic site safety monitoring as per applicable guidelines.
Participate in departmental reviews, technical meetings, and audits as required.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent allied trade) from a recognized institute/college.
Relevant experience in the related field may be considered/required as per department norms.
Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and basic estimation/measurement practices.
Ability to work across project sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to quality and timelines.

Age Limit (as per department norms)

Central Water Commission / CPWD: up to 32 years
Department of Post: up to 27 years
Other departments: up to 30 years
