Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Junior Engineer to support power generation and development operations across Jammu & Kashmir. This role is ideal for engineering graduates who are eager to contribute to critical infrastructure projects in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of power development and related engineering works.
- Support site supervision activities, including measurement, quality checks, and compliance with technical specifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records as required.
- Support maintenance and operational activities for power projects (hydel/thermal) as assigned.
- Follow organizational policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Education: BE/B.Tech in a relevant branch of Engineering from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- Age Limit (as on 01-01-2017): Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years (age relaxation as per rules).
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them in field and office environments.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work across locations within Jammu & Kashmir as per project needs.
Compensation
- Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 + grade pay (as applicable).
