Position: Junior Instructor (Electrician, Welder, Fitter & COPA)

Organization: Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB)

Overview: We are seeking skilled and motivated Junior Instructors to support vocational and technical training delivery across multiple trades. The role focuses on classroom and practical instruction, workshop/lab management, trainee assessment, and compliance with training standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver theory and practical training sessions in the assigned trade (Electrician/Welder/Fitter/COPA) as per approved curriculum and training plans.
  • Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, lab/workshop exercises, and training materials aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Assess trainee performance through tests, practical evaluations, assignments, and continuous assessment methods.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, internal assessment marks, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure safe operation of tools, machinery, and lab equipment; enforce safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
  • Support exam-related activities, including preparation, invigilation support, and coordination for trade-wise assessments where applicable.
  • Assist in inventory management of consumables, tools, and equipment; report maintenance needs and ensure readiness of workshop/lab facilities.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to trainees regarding skill development, employability, and professional conduct.
  • Coordinate with administrative teams for scheduling, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in institutional initiatives such as skill competitions, industry interactions, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification in the respective trade (Electrician/Welder/Fitter/COPA) from a recognized institution (e.g., ITI/Diploma or equivalent as per applicable recruitment rules).
  • Working knowledge of trade tools, practical processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to deliver instruction effectively to diverse learners in both classroom and hands-on environments.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and training support (especially relevant for COPA).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality training delivery, and learner development.
  • Selection may involve written examination results, answer key/revised result processes, and document verification as per board guidelines.
