Position: Junior Judicial Assistant (JJA), Clerk Grade II, Junior Assistant

Location: Rajasthan, India

Pay Scale: Rs. 20,800 – 65,900 (Pay Level-5)

This role supports court and legal-services operations through administrative assistance, case-file management, clerical processing, and coordination with internal departments. The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills in a structured public-sector environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties including document handling, filing, indexing, and record maintenance.
  • Assist in processing court/office correspondence, notices, and routine office documentation.
  • Support case-file movement and tracking, ensuring timely availability of records as required.
  • Data entry and maintenance of registers/records as per office procedures.
  • Coordinate with concerned sections/officials for workflow completion and information sharing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with departmental rules and procedural requirements.
  • Provide general office support such as scheduling, basic reporting, and assisting in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate Degree from any recognized university in India.
  • Age Limit (as on 01 January 2023): 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per rules).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency for office work (data entry, documentation, and record keeping).
  • Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Integrity and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
