KMAT Answer Key Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented KMAT Answer Key Analyst to support the end-to-end lifecycle of examination answer keys, result artifacts, and related candidate communications. This role focuses on validating answer key data, coordinating updates and revisions, ensuring accuracy across shifts/sets, and publishing compliant, user-friendly updates for candidates and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with structured data (PDFs, spreadsheets, portals), understands exam workflows (answer key release, objections, revisions, finalization), and can maintain high accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and reconcile KMAT answer key documents across multiple paper sets/shifts to ensure correctness and consistency.
  • Cross-check question IDs, options, and correct responses against source materials and official references.
  • Track and document changes arising from expert reviews, objections/challenges, and final key revisions.
  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready logs of updates, versioning, and publication timestamps.
  • Coordinate with content/exam teams to resolve discrepancies, missing items, formatting issues, or ambiguous questions.
  • Support publication workflows by preparing portal-ready files and ensuring links, labels, and metadata are accurate.
  • Assist in drafting candidate-facing notices and instructions (e.g., how to view/download answer keys, objection process steps, timelines).
  • Perform quality assurance checks on public postings to confirm correct files are live, accessible, and properly categorized.
  • Monitor inbound queries and route issues to the appropriate team while maintaining response SLAs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies for confidentiality, data handling, and release approvals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields are a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in exam operations, education publishing, assessment support, or data QA (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies in large documents and datasets.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) including filters, lookups, conditional formatting, and basic pivot tables.
  • Comfort working with PDFs and document tools; ability to compare versions and manage file naming/version control.
  • Clear written communication skills for drafting instructions and release notes.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines during peak exam cycles.
  • Basic understanding of exam processes (answer key, objections, result compilation) is preferred.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive exam materials.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance-based increments.
  • Health insurance and wellness support (as applicable).
  • Paid time off and holidays aligned with organizational policy.
  • Training on assessment workflows, QA practices, and publishing standards.
  • Opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in education and examination services.
  • Flexible work arrangements during non-peak periods (role-dependent).
