Role Overview
We are hiring a LIC AAO / AE Mains Admit Card & Candidate Support Specialist to manage end-to-end candidate communication and support for admit card releases, exam-city updates, and post-exam documentation workflows. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with high-volume public-facing information, and capable of coordinating timelines, links, and instructions across multiple stages of an examination process.
You will help ensure candidates can reliably access admit cards, understand key dates, follow download steps, and resolve common issues (login problems, incorrect details, missing documents, etc.) while maintaining accuracy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Publish and maintain admit card and exam-related updates (e.g., exam city details, application status, admit card availability, answer keys, results, scorecards) with correct dates, instructions, and official links.
- Create clear candidate-facing instructions for downloading admit cards and checking status using identifiers such as registration number, roll number, name, date of birth, and captcha/security codes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to validate information against official sources and ensure timely updates.
- Provide first-level support to candidates via email/chat/phone for common issues: login failures, incorrect personal details, document mismatch, and download/printing problems.
- Maintain structured records of candidate queries, resolutions, and escalation outcomes; identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
- Support document verification (DV) and medical/fitness stage communications by outlining required documents, verification steps, and general guidance.
- Ensure all published content follows quality checks (accuracy, formatting, accessibility, and consistency) and remains compliant with disclaimers and information-use policies.
- Monitor website pages and link integrity (broken links, incorrect redirects, outdated notices) and coordinate fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 1–3 years of experience in candidate support, education/exam operations, customer support, or content operations.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convert complex instructions into simple, step-by-step guidance.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and frequent updates.
- Comfortable working with web portals and administrative dashboards; ability to validate and cross-check information from official sources.
- Working knowledge of common exam workflows (admit card release, answer keys, results, DV/medical stages) is a strong plus.
- Basic HTML knowledge (paragraphs, lists, links) is preferred for publishing clean, readable updates.
- Strong ethics and discretion when handling candidate information; commitment to privacy and data protection.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing public information pages for examinations, recruitment, or government/education portals.
- Familiarity with regional portal navigation patterns and candidate login flows.
- Ability to analyze support tickets to reduce repeat issues through improved FAQs and notices.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and trackers for date/version control of notices and links.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with performance-based growth opportunities.
- Health insurance and paid time off (as per company policy).
- Flexible working arrangements (role-dependent).
- Training on standardized publishing, verification checklists, and candidate support playbooks.
- Opportunity to work on high-impact, high-visibility public information workflows.
