Position: Line Attendant / Office Assistant (Gr-III)

We are hiring for technical field and administrative support roles supporting electricity distribution operations. The Line Attendant role focuses on assisting with distribution-line operations, maintenance support, and field safety compliance. The Office Assistant (Gr-III) role supports office administration, data handling, customer/service documentation, and coordination across departments.
Responsibilities
Line Attendant
- Assist in operation and maintenance support for electricity distribution lines and associated equipment under supervision.
- Support fault identification and restoration activities, including coordination with field teams and control/dispatch instructions where applicable.
- Follow safety procedures and use prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in field environments.
- Support routine inspections, basic reporting, and documentation of field activities.
- Help maintain tools, materials, and site readiness for scheduled and emergency work.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Office Assistant (Gr-III)
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks including file management, record keeping, and document preparation.
- Enter and update data in office systems, registers, and spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support customer/service documentation, internal correspondence, and departmental coordination.
- Assist with scheduling, communication, and routine office operations to support service delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a structured environment and follow instructions, policies, and safety guidelines.
- Role-specific aptitude for fieldwork (Line Attendant) or administrative/clerical work (Office Assistant).
- Comfort working with basic documentation and reporting requirements.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and punctuality; ability to meet operational timelines.
- Willingness to work at assigned locations and, when required, support time-sensitive operational activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in utility operations, maintenance support, or field services (for Line Attendant).
- Prior experience in office administration, data entry, or customer/service support (for Office Assistant).
- Familiarity with standard safety practices and compliance culture.
