Position: Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Upper Division Clerk (UDC) (Group C)

This role supports day-to-day administrative operations, records management, and office coordination within CCRAS and associated units. The positions are suited for detail-oriented candidates who can manage clerical workflows, documentation, and computer-based tasks in a structured government environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain files, registers, records, and correspondence (physical and digital).
- Draft, format, and process routine letters, notes, and office documents.
- Data entry and updating of office databases/spreadsheets as required.
- Assist in coordination of meetings, schedules, and administrative workflows.
- Support internal departments with document movement, dispatch, and receipt tracking.
- For LDC: perform typing and computer-based clerical support tasks as assigned.
- Follow applicable office procedures, confidentiality requirements, and compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- Age Limit (as on 19/December/2019): 18 to 27 years
- Age Relaxation (upper age limit): SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years (as per applicable rules)
- Education:
- UDC: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- LDC: Intermediate (Class 12) from a recognized board.
- Typing Skill (LDC): 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
- Working knowledge of computers and common office software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Selection Process
- LDC: Written Test (Objective/MCQ) + Typing Test
- UDC: Written Test (Objective/MCQ)
Compensation
- UDC: Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 (Pay Matrix Level-4)
- LDC: Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 (Pay Matrix Level-2)
