Overview: We are seeking disciplined, detail-oriented candidates for clerical and welfare-support roles. The Lower Division Clerk (LDC) role focuses on office administration, record management, and computer-based clerical work. The Welfare Organiser role supports welfare-related coordination and administrative activities; this post is reserved for Ex-Servicemen as per the referenced recruitment criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting letters, maintaining files, and updating registers.
  • Operate computers for data entry, document preparation, and basic office applications.
  • Manage inward/outward correspondence, document indexing, and record retrieval.
  • Support departmental workflows by coordinating with internal teams and handling routine office queries.
  • Assist in organizing schedules, meetings, and documentation for official processes.
  • For Welfare Organiser: support welfare-related administrative coordination, maintain beneficiary/service records, and assist with reporting and compliance documentation as directed by the department.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all official records and communications.

Requirements

  • Education: 12th (Intermediate) pass from a recognized board in India.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer operations and typing.
  • Eligibility Note: The Welfare Organiser post is only for Ex-Servicemen (as per the referenced notification details).
  • Age Criteria: Minimum 21 years and maximum 57 years (age relaxation applicable as per BSSC/government rules).
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and basic administrative aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a government-office environment with deadlines and compliance requirements.
