Position: Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Welfare Organiser

The Lower Division Clerk (LDC) role focuses on office administration, record management, and computer-based clerical work. Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting letters, maintaining files, and updating registers.
- Operate computers for data entry, document preparation, and basic office applications.
- Manage inward/outward correspondence, document indexing, and record retrieval.
- Support departmental workflows by coordinating with internal teams and handling routine office queries.
- Assist in organizing schedules, meetings, and documentation for official processes.
- For Welfare Organiser: support welfare-related administrative coordination, maintain beneficiary/service records, and assist with reporting and compliance documentation as directed by the department.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all official records and communications.
Requirements
- Education: 12th (Intermediate) pass from a recognized board in India.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer operations and typing.
- Eligibility Note: The Welfare Organiser post is only for Ex-Servicemen (as per the referenced notification details).
- Age Criteria: Minimum 21 years and maximum 57 years (age relaxation applicable as per BSSC/government rules).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and basic administrative aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a government-office environment with deadlines and compliance requirements.
