Responsibilities

As a Management Trainee, you will undergo structured training and gradually take ownership of operational and functional responsibilities relevant to your discipline. Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Participating in classroom and on-the-job training modules, site rotations, and assessments.
  • Supporting day-to-day plant/department operations under guidance of senior officers.
  • Assisting in planning, monitoring, and improving process performance, safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Preparing technical/functional reports, documentation, and presentations for reviews.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, maintenance, projects, quality, EHS, HR, IT, procurement) to support business objectives.
  • Learning and applying relevant standards, SOPs, statutory guidelines, and best practices.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

  • Education: BE / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering / Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline/branch (as applicable to the MT post).
  • Age: 18–27 years as on 31 May 2024 (relaxation as per applicable rules).
  • Skills (preferred):
    • Strong fundamentals in your discipline and willingness to learn in an industrial environment.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic proficiency with documentation and standard office/technical tools relevant to the function.
