Position: MAT Cutoff Marks Analyst (February Session)
We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to track, compile, validate, and publish accurate MAT February cutoff marks insights across participating institutes. This role blends academic admissions research, data validation, and content operations to ensure students and stakeholders receive timely, reliable cutoff updates and interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Collect MAT February cutoff marks and related admission criteria from official sources (institute websites, notifications, admission portals, and verified communications).
- Maintain a structured database of cutoffs by institute, program, category, and year; ensure consistency in naming conventions and taxonomy.
- Validate cutoff data for accuracy, completeness, and currency; flag discrepancies and resolve via source re-checks or institute follow-ups.
- Analyze trends across years (e.g., percentile bands, sectional requirements, category-wise variations) and summarize key takeaways.
- Create and update web-ready content pages for MAT February cutoffs, including tables, highlights, and explanatory notes.
- Coordinate with content, SEO, and engineering teams to publish updates quickly and maintain page quality (formatting, internal links, metadata).
- Monitor user queries and feedback to improve clarity (e.g., what cutoffs mean, how institutes use scores, expected ranges).
- Ensure compliance with editorial standards: source attribution, date-stamping updates, and avoiding unverified claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Education, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in educational content operations, admissions research, data analysis, or publishing.
- Strong data handling skills (Excel/Google Sheets); ability to manage large tables and perform basic analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight update cycles during admission seasons.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain cutoff concepts clearly to students.
- Familiarity with MBA admissions in India and standardized test reporting (percentile vs score) is preferred.
- Comfort working with CMS tools and basic HTML formatting for web publishing.
- Ability to verify information from primary sources and maintain a clear audit trail of references.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with performance-based increments.
- Flexible work arrangement (remote/hybrid options depending on location and team needs).
- Learning opportunities in higher-education admissions, analytics, and content strategy.
- Supportive editorial and data team with clear workflows and documentation.
- Paid time off and standard company benefits as per policy.
