Responsibilities

  • Assist in the smooth operation of the school mess, including preparation support and serving activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, kitchen areas, and related service spaces.
  • Help with cleaning and handling of utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment as per standard procedures.
  • Support safe storage and handling of food items and supplies as directed by supervisors.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
  • Assist Catering Supervisor/authorized staff in routine mess-related tasks and during peak meal hours.
  • Perform other duties assigned related to mess operations and student dining support.

Requirements

  • Education: Class 10 (High School) from a recognized board in India.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience (as referenced in the recruitment details).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation as per NVS rules, where applicable).
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Comfortable with physically active work, standing for long periods, and routine cleaning/service tasks.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene practices in a food service environment is preferred.
