Key Responsibilities
- Deliver role-specific paramedical services as per departmental protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records, registers, and documentation required for audits and reporting.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and allied departments to ensure timely patient support and continuity of care.
- Follow infection prevention, biomedical waste management, and patient safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain relevant equipment, ensuring calibration and safe usage where applicable.
Role-Specific Responsibilities
- Physiotherapist: Assess patients, plan and deliver physiotherapy interventions, guide exercises, and monitor rehabilitation outcomes.
- Counsellor: Provide counseling and family therapy support, maintain case notes, and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Pharmacist Grade II: Dispense medicines, manage inventory, ensure storage compliance, and support prescription review processes.
- OT Technician: Prepare OT setup, assist during procedures, manage sterilization workflow, and support OT equipment readiness.
- Ophthalmic Assistant: Support eye examinations, assist in refraction/optometry tasks, manage ophthalmic instruments, and maintain patient flow.
Eligibility & Requirements
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025): 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation applicable as per MPESB rules.
Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)
- Physiotherapist: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (B.P.T.) and valid registration with Madhya Pradesh Co-Medical Council.
- Counsellor: M.S.W. (Master of Social Worker) and PG Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy (PGDCFT).
- Pharmacist Grade II: 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics; plus Diploma in Pharmacy / B-Pharma / M-Pharma from a recognized university; registration with Madhya Pradesh Pharmacy Council.
- OT Technician: 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics; one-year certificate course of Operation Theatre Technician from a recognized government institution; registration with Madhya Pradesh Co-Medical Council.
- Ophthalmic Assistant: 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics; 2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant or Optometry & Refraction from a government-recognized institute; registration with Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council.
