Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary by role and posting. Typical duties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering patient-centric paramedical services in accordance with departmental protocols and applicable regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical/service records and supporting documentation as required.
  • Coordinating with medical officers, nursing staff, and allied departments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, infection control, and equipment handling standards.
  • Supporting patient education, counseling, and follow-up processes as applicable to the role.
  • Participating in audits, quality initiatives, and departmental reporting.

Role-Specific Eligibility & Pay Scale

  • Physiotherapist
    Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (BPT) with registration under the MP Paramedical Council.
    Pay Scale: ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800 (Level-9).
  • Counselor
    Eligibility: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling and Family Therapy (PGDCFT).
    Pay Scale: ₹25,300 – ₹80,500 (Level-6).
  • Pharmacist Grade II
    Eligibility: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PCB subjects, plus Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy and registration with the MP Pharmacy Council.
    Pay Scale: ₹25,300 – ₹80,500 (Level-6).
  • Ophthalmic Assistant
    Eligibility: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PCB subjects and Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant, with registration under the MP Paramedical Council.
    Pay Scale: ₹28,700 – ₹91,300 (Level-7).
  • O.T. Technician
    Eligibility: 10+2 (Intermediate) with PCB subjects and a 1-year course in Operation Theatre Technician, with registration under the MP Paramedical Council.
    Pay Scale: ₹25,300 – ₹80,500 (Level-6).

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age (UR/EWS): 40 years
  • Maximum Age (OBC/SC/ST/PH/Female): 45 years
