Position: NLUO Admissions Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Admissions Coordinator to support end-to-end admissions operations for academic programs. This role will manage applicant communications, application processing, document verification workflows, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and compliant admissions cycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment, including application tracking, document collection, and status updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, responding to questions via email/phone and providing clear guidance on eligibility, timelines, and required documents.
- Maintain accurate applicant records in admissions systems and ensure data integrity across forms, uploads, and internal trackers.
- Support admissions-related events and outreach (webinars, campus visits, information sessions), including scheduling, logistics, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with academic departments, finance/accounts, and administration for offer issuance, fee-related queries, and enrollment confirmations.
- Assist with verification processes, including checking academic credentials, identity documents, and other required proofs as per institutional policy.
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards on application volume, conversion metrics, and pending actions for leadership review.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of admissions processes, templates, FAQs, and applicant communication materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education administration, student services, or a related operations role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, applicant-first approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced cycle.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and documentation (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs) and comfort learning new portals/CRMs.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong coordination skills to work across teams and follow up effectively on pending items.
- Preferred: Experience with admissions CRMs, online application portals, or student information systems.
