Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to support applicants through the NTA AISSEE 2026 (Sainik School) Admission Online Form journey. In this role, you will guide candidates and guardians across eligibility verification, document readiness, application submission, and post-submission updates while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an excellent applicant experience.

This position requires strong communication skills, comfort with online portals, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines with precision.


Responsibilities

  • Assist applicants in understanding the AISSEE admission process, key dates, and required documentation.
  • Provide step-by-step support for completing the online application form, including profile creation, data entry, and final submission checks.
  • Verify applicant details for completeness and consistency (e.g., personal information, category claims, contact details, and uploaded documents).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to publish updates, FAQs, and guidance notes for applicants.
  • Track application progress and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets/CRM tools.
  • Support applicants with common portal issues (login problems, payment confirmation, upload errors) and escalate technical issues to the appropriate team.
  • Communicate important milestones such as application start/end dates, fee payment deadlines, and correction windows (if applicable).
  • Ensure all applicant interactions comply with privacy and data protection requirements.
  • Prepare daily/weekly status reports on application volumes, common queries, and resolution timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred) or equivalent professional experience in admissions/support operations.
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education counseling, customer support, or back-office operations.
  • Strong proficiency with online forms/portals and document handling (PDF/JPG scanning, file compression, uploads).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow process checklists and compliance instructions.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and handling multiple applicant cases simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace (Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word) and basic reporting.
  • Professional, empathetic approach when supporting parents/guardians and student applicants.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting government/entrance exam application processes.
  • Familiarity with NTA-style workflows (registration, fee payment, admit card updates, result notifications).
  • Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk) or CRM systems.
