Position: NTA CUET PG 2023 Application Support Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to assist applicants through the NTA CUET PG 2023 online application process. This role focuses on guiding candidates, resolving form-related issues, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining high-quality support standards across phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end guidance to candidates for the CUET PG 2023 online application, including registration, form completion, document upload, and fee payment steps.
- Respond to applicant queries via email, phone, chat, and support tickets within defined service-level timelines.
- Troubleshoot common application issues such as OTP/login problems, payment failures, browser/device compatibility, and document format/size errors.
- Verify application details for completeness and consistency (e.g., personal details, academic information, category selection) and advise candidates on corrections as per official guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, resolutions, and follow-ups in the CRM/ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the IT/engineering team with clear reproduction steps and supporting screenshots/logs.
- Create and update knowledge-base articles, FAQs, and step-by-step guides to reduce repeat queries.
- Monitor application cycle milestones and proactively communicate common alerts (deadlines, correction windows, document requirements) to candidates.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality standards while handling candidate information.
- Support internal reporting on query volumes, resolution rates, recurring issues, and improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience in customer support/application processing.
- 1–3 years of experience in application support, admissions support, e-governance services, or customer service operations.
- Strong understanding of online form workflows, document verification basics, and payment gateway troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace; comfort using CRM/ticketing tools.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow official instructions and SOPs precisely.
- Ability to handle high volumes of time-sensitive queries during peak application periods.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills (browsers, cache/cookies, file formats, PDF/JPG compression).
- Professional integrity and ability to handle sensitive personal data securely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting education/exam applications (NTA/UGC/State exams) or admissions portals.
- Experience creating user guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with accessibility and user-friendly communication practices.
