This apprenticeship program is designed to provide hands-on, structured training exposure in a leading national power transmission organization.

Responsibilities
- Participate in on-the-job training under the guidance of assigned supervisors/mentors.
- Assist in day-to-day operational, maintenance, project, or support activities as per the allotted discipline/department.
- Follow safety procedures, site protocols, and statutory compliance requirements applicable to power sector operations.
- Maintain training logs, task reports, and documentation as required by the training unit.
- Support teams in technical/administrative tasks aligned with your trade (Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Telecom/Computer Science/HR/CSR/PR/Law).
- Attend assessments, reviews, and training sessions scheduled during the apprenticeship period.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18 years (maximum age varies by post; relaxations as per rules).
- Educational Qualification (as applicable to the training slot):
- ITI (Electrical): ITI certificate in Electrical from a recognized technical board/institute.
- Diploma (Electrical): 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized board/institute.
- Diploma (Civil): 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized board/institute.
- Graduate (Electrical): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Graduate (Civil): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- Graduate (Electronics/Telecommunication): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
- Graduate (Computer Science/IT): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology.
- HR Executive (POWERGRID): MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (2-year full-time).
- CSR Executive: Postgraduate degree in Social Work.
- PR Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (or equivalent).
- Law Executive: Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year or 5-year).
- Ability to provide original documents for verification and meet medical fitness standards.
- Willingness to be assigned to training locations/regions as per available slots.
