Position: PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) / Lecturer / Assistant Teacher

Overview: We are seeking qualified and passionate educators to deliver high-quality instruction at the postgraduate/secondary level. This role focuses on subject-specific teaching, student assessment, academic planning, and supporting institutional examination processes (including review of provisional answer keys and raising objections within prescribed timelines where applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for assigned subjects (PGT/Lecturer/Assistant Teacher level).
  • Prepare instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with academic standards.
  • Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, practicals (where relevant), and continuous assessment.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and performance reports.
  • Provide academic support, mentoring, and guidance to students to improve learning outcomes.
  • Participate in examination-related duties such as invigilation, evaluation support, and compliance with exam guidelines.
  • Review official/provisional answer keys (where applicable) to evaluate performance and follow formal processes for submitting objections within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with peers and academic leadership to improve teaching practices and departmental outcomes.
  • Support co-curricular and institutional initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject (or equivalent as per institutional/government norms).
  • Required teaching qualification/certification as applicable for PGT/Lecturer/Assistant Teacher roles.
  • Strong subject-matter expertise and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with structured assessments, exam patterns, and syllabus-based teaching.
  • Comfort working with online portals and official notices (e.g., downloading admit cards/answer keys, checking exam updates).
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and adherence to academic and examination policies.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred (freshers with strong academic background may also be considered, depending on role level).
