Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct physical education sessions and fitness training as per institutional guidelines.
- Develop age-appropriate physical training programs to improve endurance, strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
- Organize and supervise sports activities, drills, practice sessions, and inter/intra-school competitions.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students/participants.
- Maintain basic records related to training schedules, attendance, and sports participation (as required by the institution/department).
- Support implementation of health, safety, and injury-prevention practices during training and sports events.
- Coordinate with school/department administration for sports equipment requirements and event planning.
Requirements
- Education: Passed 12th class from a recognized board with Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) or Graduate Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.).
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2023):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation: As per applicable rules
- Ability to conduct structured physical training sessions and manage group activities effectively.
- Readiness to participate in the selection process as notified by the recruiting authority.
