Position: Preliminary Exam Answer Key Analyst (BPSC AAO)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Answer Key Analyst to support the publication, verification, and candidate support process for the BPSC AAO (Assistant Audit Officer) Preliminary Examination answer key lifecycle. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across answer key releases, objection handling workflows, and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate preliminary answer keys for accuracy, formatting consistency, and alignment with the official question paper sets.
- Cross-check question IDs, option mappings, and set-wise variations to ensure correct linkage between questions and answers.
- Support the objection management process by compiling candidate objections, categorizing issues (e.g., ambiguous questions, incorrect options, multiple correct answers), and preparing structured reports for expert review.
- Coordinate with internal content teams, subject matter experts, and operations staff to resolve discrepancies and implement approved corrections.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for answer key versions, corrections, and final decisions.
- Prepare candidate-facing updates and FAQs (in clear, formal language) related to answer key availability, login steps, and objection timelines.
- Assist in publishing workflows by verifying links, ensuring accessibility of downloadable files, and confirming that the correct exam dates/sets are reflected.
- Monitor portals for issues post-release (broken links, incorrect files, access errors) and escalate promptly with reproducible steps.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy practices when handling candidate login-related information and communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for candidates with exposure to competitive exam content, education operations, or QA processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive validation tasks with high accuracy.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and structured data (question IDs, set codes, answer mappings); proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets required.
- Ability to interpret exam-related documents (question papers, notices, PDFs) and reconcile differences across versions.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting candidate instructions and internal issue summaries.
- Ability to manage timelines during high-volume release periods and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of online examination workflows and answer key/objection processes is preferred.
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling exam-related materials and candidate information.
