MPESB is inviting eligible candidates for the role of Primary School Teacher under PSTST. This role focuses on delivering high-quality primary education, supporting foundational learning outcomes, and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have qualified the relevant Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning outcomes for primary classes.
- Create a positive classroom environment that supports foundational literacy, numeracy, and holistic development.
- Assess student learning through classwork, tests, assignments, and continuous evaluation; maintain accurate academic records.
- Implement inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learners, including students requiring special education support (where applicable).
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, attendance, and development needs.
- Participate in school activities, teacher training, academic planning, and departmental meetings as required.
- For Science posts: teach science concepts using activity-based learning, demonstrations, and age-appropriate experimentation within safety norms.
- Maintain discipline and promote values, civic responsibility, and respectful behavior in the classroom.
- Comply with school policies and state education guidelines, including documentation and administrative tasks assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Age Criteria (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (UR/EWS)
- Maximum Age: 45 years (OBC/SC/ST/PH/Female)
- Age relaxation as per MPESB PSTST recruitment rules.
Educational Qualification
Primary School Teacher (Post Code 1 to 4)
- Must have qualified the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by MP Employees Selection Board, Bhopal for the year 2020 or 2024, with qualifying score as prescribed.
- Educational qualifications as per applicable rules (including but not limited to):
- Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent / Special Education Diploma; OR
- Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. (as per NCTE Regulation 2002); OR
- Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR
- Graduation and 2-year D.El.Ed. or equivalent.
Primary School Teacher – Science (Post Code 5 to 10)
- Higher Secondary (12th) with Science stream and minimum 50% marks (or equivalent).
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education OR 4-year B.El.Ed. with relevant subject, as applicable.
Notes:
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Divyangjan) may receive 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks as per rules.
- Degrees/diplomas/certificates must be from recognized institutions and are subject to verification within stipulated timelines.
