Role Overview

As a Probationary Officer, you will contribute to core operational and administrative functions, supporting business processes, service delivery, and compliance. The position is designed as an entry-level officer role with structured learning and performance expectations during the probation period.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations related to policy/insurance/guarantee services and customer servicing (as applicable to assigned department).
  • Assist in evaluating applications, documentation checks, and preliminary risk/credit assessment processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support MIS and data reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing and adherence to defined workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Participate in training and on-the-job learning during the probation period; contribute to process improvements.
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation and responding to information requests.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
  • Age Limit (as on 01 November 2025): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years (age relaxation as per ECGC recruitment rules).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and common office tools (spreadsheets, documents, email).
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment and meet deadlines.
