Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is hiring Project Officers for multiple openings in Kochi. This role is ideal for engineering graduates who want to contribute to large-scale shipbuilding, repair, and marine engineering projects in a structured, high-compliance environment.

Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of assigned engineering projects in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Monitor project milestones, schedules, and deliverables; escalate risks and constraints as needed.
Assist in preparation and review of technical documentation, reports, and project records.
Coordinate with vendors/contractors for technical clarifications, progress tracking, and quality adherence.
Participate in inspections, testing, and acceptance activities aligned with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, quality systems, and organizational standards.
Support stakeholder communication, including internal departments and external agencies as required.

Requirements

Education: Degree in relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as on 28-02-2017): Maximum 30 years.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years; PH: 10 years (as applicable).
Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment with strong documentation practices.
Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Compensation

Pay Scale: Rs. 22,500/- per month
