Position: Pune University SET Answer Key Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the end-to-end publication, verification, and stakeholder communication for the Pune University SET (State Eligibility Test) Answer Key process. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of answer key materials, including handling candidate queries and coordinating with internal teams to maintain high standards of examination integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the compilation, review, and publication of the Pune University SET answer key (provisional and final) across designated channels.
  • Validate answer key data for accuracy, completeness, formatting consistency, and alignment with question paper sets/series.
  • Support the objection/challenge workflow: receive, log, categorize, and track objections within defined timelines.
  • Prepare structured reports summarizing objections, supporting documentation status, and resolution outcomes for review committees.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and administrative stakeholders to reconcile discrepancies and implement approved corrections.
  • Maintain version control and audit trails for all answer key releases, revisions, and communications.
  • Draft and publish candidate-facing notices (timelines, instructions, objection guidelines, and final key announcements).
  • Respond to candidate and stakeholder inquiries via email/helpdesk channels with clear, policy-aligned guidance.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection practices are followed for exam-related materials.
  • Assist in post-release analysis, including recurring error patterns, process improvements, and documentation updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Education, Administration, Data Management, IT, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in examination operations, academic administration, publishing workflows, or quality assurance (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform structured QA checks on large datasets/documents.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and document tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs); ability to manage trackers and versioning.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting notices and responding to candidate queries.
  • Ability to manage deadlines during high-volume periods (answer key release and objection window).
  • Understanding of examination processes, fairness principles, and basic compliance requirements (preferred).
  • Professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential exam materials.
