Responsibilities
- Maintain law and order and support public safety operations within the assigned district.
- Assist in patrol duties, traffic and crowd management, and emergency response.
- Support investigations through preliminary inquiry, documentation, and coordination with senior officers.
- Prepare and maintain official records, reports, and required documentation.
- Engage with the community to promote awareness, safety, and cooperation with policing initiatives.
- Comply with departmental protocols, discipline standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Education: 12th pass (or equivalent) from a recognized board/university. For Ex-Servicemen, minimum qualification is Matriculation.
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years (as on 01.01.2023).
- Nationality/Eligibility: Must meet the eligibility conditions as per the official notification.
- Selection process: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST), and Document Verification.
- Physical fitness: Must be able to qualify physical measurement and screening standards as prescribed by the department.
