Responsibilities
- Participate in structured apprenticeship training in the allotted trade as per the Apprentices Act and Railway guidelines.
- Assist technical teams in routine maintenance, repair, fitting, inspection, and workshop activities (as applicable to the trade/unit).
- Follow safety procedures, standard operating practices, and instructions from supervisors/training officers.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and training records as required during the apprenticeship period.
- Support housekeeping and tool/equipment handling practices in workshops/depots while adhering to safety norms.
Requirements
- Education: Class 10th pass from a recognized board in India.
- Technical Qualification: ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit (as on 05 August 2024):
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Age relaxation as per applicable rules
- Ability to work in an industrial/workshop environment and follow safety and compliance requirements.
- Basic communication skills and willingness to learn on the job.
