Position: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC Recruitment Specialist (Revised Vacancy Management)
Location: India (RRB Zone/Remote coordination as per project needs)

We are hiring a Recruitment Specialist to support end-to-end coordination for large-scale public recruitment programs, with a focus on managing revised vacancy communications (e.g., vacancy reductions/updates), stakeholder alignment, and candidate-facing information accuracy. This role requires strong operational discipline, documentation rigor, and the ability to work with high-volume datasets and time-sensitive notices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment operations for NTPC-style hiring cycles, including vacancy tracking, change control, and publication workflows.
- Manage and validate revised vacancy updates (e.g., “62 posts reduced”), ensuring consistency across notices, portals, and internal trackers.
- Prepare and review official communications such as notifications, corrigenda, short notices, and candidate advisories.
- Maintain master data for posts, categories, zones, and reservation breakups; perform reconciliation across sources and versions.
- Collaborate with examination, IT/portal, legal/compliance, and communications teams to implement updates without disrupting candidate timelines.
- Support query resolution by drafting standard responses and escalation notes for candidate grievances related to vacancy changes.
- Track key dates, milestones, and dependencies; produce status reports and risk logs for leadership review.
- Ensure audit-ready documentation, version history, and approvals for all vacancy-related changes.
- Monitor public information channels and coordinate timely corrections when discrepancies are identified.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, Data/Operations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, examination administration, government/PSU hiring support, or large-scale staffing programs.
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), including lookups, pivots, and data validation; comfort working with large datasets.
- Excellent written communication skills; ability to draft clear, accurate notices and candidate instructions.
- High attention to detail with strong version control and documentation habits.
- Understanding of vacancy structures, reservation/category breakups, and multi-location recruitment processes is preferred.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle sensitive, high-impact updates with professionalism.
- Basic familiarity with recruitment portals/ATS or CMS tools is a plus.
