Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks including data entry, record maintenance, and file management.
  • Handle ticketing/commercial functions (for ticket clerk roles), including customer support and transaction processing as per railway rules.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts-related documentation and registers (for accounts clerk roles).
  • Typing and drafting of official documents/communications as required (typist roles).
  • Support station/office operations by coordinating with internal teams and following standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable railway policies, reporting procedures, and document control standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate degree from a recognized university (as indicated in the provided notice).
  • Typing Skill: Typing proficiency in Hindi/English on computer is required for typist-designated posts.
  • Age Limit (Tentative): 18 to 33 years; age relaxation as per government/RRB rules.
  • Ability to work in a structured environment, follow instructions, and maintain accuracy in documentation and transactions.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn railway systems/processes.
