Position: Apprentice (Various Trades) – Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway (CR)

Railway RRC CR invites applications for Apprentice positions across multiple trades. Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act and Railway/RRC guidelines.
  • Assist in day-to-day workshop, maintenance, servicing, and repair activities under supervision.
  • Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned trade and work area.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and training records as required by the training unit.
  • Comply with workplace safety practices, including use of PPE and adherence to safety instructions.
  • Support basic documentation and reporting related to training tasks when assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Candidates should meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for Apprentice recruitment as per the official RRC CR notification (trade-wise qualifications may apply).
  • Age: As per RRC/Indian Railways rules and the applicable notification.
  • Technical aptitude: Willingness to learn practical trade skills in an industrial/workshop environment.
