Position: Railway Technician (Grade I Signal / Grade III) – Recruitment Support & Operations

We are seeking detail-oriented and service-driven professionals to support end-to-end recruitment operations and candidate communications for the Railway Technician recruitment cycle. This role focuses on exam operations support, application status handling, admit card/exam date communications, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant candidate-facing updates.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment operations for Technician Grade I Signal and Technician Grade III hiring cycles, including candidate application status tracking and communications.
  • Assist in publishing and maintaining exam schedule updates (e.g., revised exam dates, notices, and related public information).
  • Coordinate admit card release activities, including validation of candidate data, troubleshooting access issues, and ensuring accurate instructions are communicated.
  • Handle candidate queries related to roll number/application number usage, date of birth validation, and download steps for admit cards and notices.
  • Maintain documentation and logs for notices, links, and activation timelines (e.g., “link active soon” status updates) to ensure transparency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure information posted across portals is accurate and up to date.
  • Support quality checks for public-facing content, ensuring clarity, correctness, and compliance with official communication standards.
  • Assist with operational reporting (e.g., number of posts, exam windows, release milestones) and maintain audit-ready records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience in operations, administration, or public-facing support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive updates.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft clear instructions for candidates.
  • Comfort working with web portals, document/PDF workflows, and link/content management.
  • Ability to handle candidate support professionally and empathetically, especially during peak periods (exam date/admit card release).
  • Basic understanding of recruitment/examination processes (application, exam schedule, normalization notices, admit cards) is an advantage.
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and follow defined processes and confidentiality requirements.
